The Samoa Trade Information Portal is a transparency mechanism implemented by the Government of Samoa through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour (MCIL). The information portal is a facilitative measure to inform and enhance trader's knowledge of the processes and procedures to follow for the import and export of Goods. The Trade Information Portal is one of the activities and requirements for Samoa’s ratification of the Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relation (PACER) Plus. The development of the information portal was made possible by the technical assistance of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the development assistance of the Governments of Australia and New Zealand.
